Field Jacket: Natural

Our Natural Field Jacket is crafted from 100% vegetable-tanned cowhide, renowned for its authentic, natural appearance and durability. As this is a natural leather, slight variations in color and tone between different pieces are to be expected. These variations are not imperfections but a hallmark of the vegetable tanning process and the organic nature of the material.

Each jacket is unique, with subtle differences in shade and texture that reflect the leather’s natural origins. Over time, the leather will develop a rich patina, making it even more distinctive and personal to the wearer.

We encourage customers to embrace these natural variations as part of the charm and individuality of owning a genuine vegetable-tanned leather product.

Please Note:

This jacket is made from natural, undyed vegetable-tanned leather—intended to age, darken, and develop a unique patina over time. Because of the leather’s open-pored nature, it’s sensitive to prolonged moisture exposure. If left wet for too long, some staining (possibly due to oxidization) may occur around metal rivets, especially those with an antique finish.

To help your jacket age beautifully, AVOID getting it fully soaked; if it does get wet, dry it flat in a cool, well-ventilated space. Avoid using heat or hanging while damp.

Each jacket is designed in Toronto and built in our own dedicated workshop in Pakistan. We oversee every step — from pattern drafting to leather selection to final inspection. Every jacket is individually photographed, measured, and quality-checked before leaving the shop. We produce in small batches using full-grain leathers, custom hardware, and offer complimentary custom sizing on all builds.
